Westwood is dominated by the influence of UCLA and its world class Medical Center, as well as Westwood Village. The Village bustles with shops, restaurants, movie theaters, the W Hotel, the Geffen Playhouse, and the Armand Hammer Collection of Art. A number of Fortune 500 companies call Westwood home in the high-rises on Wilshire Boulevard.

The “Wilshire Corridor”, also known as “The Golden Mile”, is a stretch of world class, luxury high-rise condominiums located on Wilshire Boulevard between Westwood Boulevard and the Los Angeles Country Club. The residential area south of Wilshire Boulevard has slightly hilly streets with mature trees and elegant traditional and Spanish homes of modest size built in the 1930′s as does Westwood Hills, a charming family neighborhood just west of UCLA.
